Lupe Fiasco Wiki

The Cool Tour was a headline concert tour by American rapper Lupe Fiasco in support of his sophomore studio album, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool (2007).[1] He held a release party at Irving Plaza in New York City on December 18, 2007, while the tour itself began at Roseland Theatre in Portland, Oregon on January 10, 2008.[2][3] It coincided with Kanye West's Glow in the Dark Tour and Fiasco's own six-date Coca-Cola Refresh Your Flow Tour, which visited across the continents North America and Europe.

Critical reception[]

The Mercury News penned, "He cleverly organized the songs to fit a storyline, one that had Fiasco as the tour guide on a trip through his hometown of Chicago and, eventually, into San Francisco. He spoke casually with the crowd members, filling their ears with intriguing bits of both Windy City and Bay Area color, and always cued up his songs as masterfully as a veteran DJ."[4]
