Nishigawa Iaido Club is a clothing brand launched in 2021 by American rapper Lupe Fiasco. 'Nishigawa' is translated from Japanese to 'West Side' in homage to his upbringing, where he practiced martial arts and grew up in West Side Chicago.
He has worn Nishigawa clothing in music videos and live performances, including a jacket in his "Autoboto" music video in 2022, the cap in the cover artwork of "Outside," and matching apparel for his performance at Sole DXB. In November 2024, he collaborated with fashion label Maharishi to launch a training and post-training collection. He explained how Nishigawa Iaido Club was "kind of an extension of my childhood roots, my relationship to Iaidō and using that as a way to kind of have a community of swordsmen, of my ilk, of my generation. As an opportunity to come together and express our love for the samurai sword."[1]
