Fallacy of Rome (stylized in all caps) is a men's fashion line founded by Lupe Fiasco, in collaboration with FALSE founders Le Messie and Amanda Scully.[1]

Eventually Fiasco gave up creative direction due to other commitments and work. He explained to Highsnobiety, "I have so much on my plate and to keep from getting too overwhelmed it was just an easier route to let them take it over. I peek my head in from time to time, but I trust their decisions and I'm really pleased with the results."

Background[]

In 2008, Fiasco and the creators of FALSE launched the first line called "Hounds of Hades" (Kerberos).[2] The collection for Fall/Winter 2010, "Together We Ride," was inspired by bikers.[3] Another line was titled "The Emperor's New Clothes," referencing to Hans Christian Anderson's tale. It featured optical illusions of skulls.[4]
