The 2022 UK Tour was a three-date headline concert tour by American rapper Lupe Fiasco around the United Kingdom. It began at the O₂ Academy in Bristol, England, on March 3, 2022 and concluded at the O₂ Ritz in Manchester, England, on March 6, 2022.

Synopsis

Lupe Fiasco makes his long awaited return to the UK, performing live for the first time in 10 years! He will be playing songs from the album 'Food & Liquor' plus other classics. And joining him on tour is UK legend, Lowkey!

Born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, Lupe Fiasco is a Grammy award-winning American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and community advocate from Chicago. The independent rapper who parted ways with his former label, Atlantic Records, following the release of 2015's Tetsuo & Youth, is pegged as one of the most gifted lyricists and visionaries to grace the mic.

Rising to fame in 2006 following the success of his debut album, 'Food & Liquor', Lupe has released six acclaimed studio albums. These albums have netted 3 platinum singles, 3 RIAA Gold Certifications, 12 Grammy nominations and one Grammy Award in 2008 for his infectious single, "Daydreamin," feat Jill Scott.

Background

In 2020, Fiasco was set to perform around Europe, which would've began at Astra in Berlin, Germany on May 28, 2020, and conclude at O₂ Academy in Bristol, England, on June 8, 2020. Because of COVID-19, dates were rescheduled or canceled, and eventually he performed around the United Kingdom. It shortly followed his 2021 Food & Liquor Tour, which was in celebration of his 2006 debut studio album.
